The farm lies on the slopes of Montalcino and from its well-known
position enjoys an ideal micro-climate. The farm covers 15 hectares
in total and the vineyards cover six hectares af which five are
dedicated to Brunello. Although a young farm; its origins are ancient;
indeed, some of its vines are grown from the vine stumps of very
old vineyards.
Inhented from Simonetta Valiani and further improved, the farm is
assured of an excellent wine production, owing not only to its favourable
location, but also to the careful nuturing of the vineyard and the
use of advanced tecnology in the cellar aimed at achieving the highest
quality of production. The old cellars and the cottages have been
renovated, revealing the original architectural structure and thereby
also creating the oppurtunity to offer a very pleasant stay in the
country. |
